Meet the School Counselor

My name is Hailey Mohnke, and I’m so excited to serve as the school counselor at Tom Daniels Elementary. I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of a campus that values connection, growth, and student success.

I’ve spent 15 years in education right here in Kerrville ISD. I’m currently completing my master’s degree in school counseling through West Texas A&M University and feel honored to support our students, staff, and families in this role.

At Tom Daniels, we follow the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs, which allows me to support students in their academic, social, and emotional growth. Whether I’m meeting with students one-on-one, leading guidance lessons in classrooms, or collaborating with teachers and families, my goal is always to advocate for and empower every child.

My husband and I have one daughter who keeps us on our toes and fills our lives with laughter and creativity. As a family, we love spending time outdoors, riding bikes, and enjoying all the simple joys Kerrville has to offer.
